Implementation Assessment
An Implementation Assessment tells you what
it will take in time, technical development, and money to
bring a technology from where it is today to the point of
implementing it in production. It consists of the
following:
-
Technology background – What the
technology is, how it works, existing applications and
specifications, availability.
-
Properties and performance
-
Capabilities and limitations
-
Degree of development – This is based on
our Technology Readiness Level
Matrix, and includes some narrative. This shows
how well developed the technology is in everything
required to bring it to production. It also shows the
critical gaps.
-
Cost Benefit Analysis – This uses our
C-MAT model, which incorporates development and adoption
cost, as well as costs savings derived from performance.
